Zebra Airfit Jell

For my first post on this blog, I decided to review the Zebra Airfit Jell. Why? Because I freaking love this pen.
The ink is smooth and a nice dark blue color. I would compare the writing experience to that of the Pilot V5/V7 RT, my favorite pen of all time. I've never had this pen skip or refuse to write. The ink dries fairly quickly and doesn't smear all over. As a lefty, this is a big bonus.

The clip is one of those springy push-open deals, so it's easy to clip on a notebook or pocket without breaking. Look how far this sucker opens up.

If you follow the link to JetPens, you'll see that the manufacturers of this pen claim that the grip has air pockets or something to allow "heat conduction from your hands," supposedly to keep your hands cool and sweat-free during a marathon writing session. I haven't noticed this, but the grip is nice and squishy and provides a comfortable writing experience. However, as others have pointed out, the grip likes to attract dust and grime. That can be annoying, but it's rubbed clean pretty easily.

The pen comes in light blue, clear, pink, and yellow as well as the blue model I have here. It's refillable, too, and there's black, red, and blue refills available, for all you environmentally-minded people or for people like me who just don't want to throw away an awesome pen like this.
